Utility Detection Services

Radar Solutions International provides utility detection services on both private and public property. RSI uses multiple geophysical techniques, including GPR and EM induction, to optimize utility detection. The type of utilities we can detect include:

Services that we provide involving utility detection include:

  • Live electrical lines (60-cycle and harmonics thereof)
  • Detection of cast iron, steel, and other conducting pipes
  • Detection of clay, RCP, asbestos concrete, transcite, and other non-conducting pipes
  • Detection of fiberoptic cables (tracer wire or frequency of fiberoptics is required)
  • Locating floor drains, sewer lines, etc. (access to pipe required)
  • Detection of brick aquaducts, tunnels, ducts
